Leah, a landscape designer, inherited her love of gardening from her eccentric aunt. When contracted to work on private investigator Sean Russel's garden, Leah becomes involved in a series of unpleasant experiences involving his cases. Despite her increasing attraction to Sean, she soon begins to wonder how she happened to become enmeshed in such mayhem.
